About Pontiac

Pontiac Illinois is located about 100 miles south of Chicago on I-55.  Pontiac is the county seat of Livingston County and is home to the Livingston County courthouse.  Pontiac is known for it’s historic swinging bridges, friendly people, and tourist attractions.  Historic Route 66 travels through Pontiac and there is even a museum dedicated to the famous roadway located in the downtown area.

Time Magazine called Pontiac, Illinois one of the best small towns in America.
